Because the best title insurance policy is the one you never need to use, the ATIF Claims Department is constantly working to help members prevent claims through education and assistance in managing risk. Unfortunately, title insurance claims do arise for even the most careful attorney. When your client has a claim on a policy issued through The Fund, you can feel secure knowing your client’s claim will be handled promptly, effectively and fairly by the experienced and knowledgeable claims staff at ATIF.
Whenever knowledge of a claim or potential claim comes to the attention of a Fund Member or insured, the first order of business is to contact a Fund claims attorney. The Fund maintains a claims staff whose primary responsibility is the investigation, evaluation and adjustment of claims.
